Jon and Melissa were married June 16, 2012 at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA, with a reception following at The Elks at Bass Rocks. We started the day with a strong beach wind and grey skies that, amazingly, parted just in time to let the late-day sun warm the ceremony. I think that if it had poured it would have been as wonderful as it was, because the two of them together was truly something special to be around. I can’t say enough about these two, such genuine, loving, and fun people. But enough with the sap, on to the pictures!
During the ceremony, Jonathan’s Dad included pictures of both of them as children with words of advice to always honor the hope and spirit that each of them had as young kids. Such a sweet, unexpected moment, and good for a few laughs, too - which is always wonderful during a wedding ceremony!
