Alexis and Eric’s Boston Wedding

Monday, October 1st, 2012

A few weeks ago Eric and Alexis were married in Boston. The forecast for the day predicted downpours, gusty winds, and tornados. We luckily ended up with just a really windy day, and it was so lovely. Their ceremony took place at Boston Harbor Hotel’s Fosters Pavilion, and we took advantage of Boston’s Public Gardens for their photos, as well, before boarding The Odyssey for their Harbor cruise reception. Here are a few of my favorite images from their lovely, early-Autumn, so-perfectly-Boston wedding day. Congratulations Alexis and Eric!

Robyn and Pat’s Boston Engagement Session

Monday, February 27th, 2012

There’s a lot to love about photographing a newly-engaged couple, even more so when that couple doesn’t hesitate in the below-freezing temps and gusty wind to have fun and enjoy each other. Robyn, Pat, and I met yesterday morning to take some pictures around Boston, and despite some numb hands and feet we all had a really great time. I just recently met them but we seem to have a lot in common, and tons to talk about (so much that it took our minds off how incredibly freezing it was). Robyn and Pat are getting married this September at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA, and I am so happy to be photographing their wedding. There’s really a lot of love and humor between these two, and I hope the photos tell that story.

Mike & Kate’s Boston Engagement Session

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Despite the almost-constant foot traffic through the Public Gardens, it’s hard to find a more beautiful backdrop. Luckily Mike and Kate were up for braving the audience to snap these engagement photos in downtown Boston. From there we headed to Acorn Street, an absolutely gorgeous little street in Beacon Hill and my new favorite portrait location. We had a great time, and I already can’t wait for their March 2012 wedding at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation.
